How I started:

I first picked up a ball when I was 7 years old. I played for a local gym in Concord, NC called "Carolina Courts".  Playing one season on the bronze team in which I learned the basics of volleyball.  My first tournament gave me the thrill and excitement to follow the sport. Still loving the sport and trying to reach the highest possible level I could play.

Entering into Middle School year I decided to take a break to focus on academics.  Then 7th grade rolls around not thinking I was gonna tryout for the volleyball team until my Dad told me "just try it out and see what happens". I listened to him and ended up in the starting  lineup as a 7th grader on the blended 7th/8th grade team.  After Middle School season I went searching for a place to play out of school and remembered my 7 year old times at Carolina Courts. Going in I did not know what to expect, and after tryouts I was selected for the  Gold level team. During the season I had the best coach, who taught me so much about this amazing sport shaping me into the beginning player I was. We won tournaments not once but twice.

The next year I joined Carolina Union Volleyball Club and played on my first official Club team. Carolina Union Volleyball Club has been my home ever since. My first year at the Club I was on a Regional team. After that year I decided to take a chance and see if my talents could take me to a higher level. I have been on a National team for Carolina Union Volleyball Club for 2 seasons going into my third. This has been the best journey and looking to continue at the next level.

How It's Going:

I am going into my third season with  Carolina Union Volleyball Club Premier Team playing Middle Hitter/Blocker.  This past year I played Middle Hitter/Blocker,  Defensive Specialist and Setter for Central Cabarrus High School.
